Hello from Guangzhou!!!!

 

We just made it to our room and wanted to let you know we made it here safely.  Praise the Lord that He brought us Meili's passport just a few minutes before we left Xi'an so now we don't have to think about that anymore.

Also wanted to tell you that Meili turned the corner last night.  That girl is breaking through that shell with some force now.  She is talking up a storm to us...sounds mostly like babble to us...assuming there is a little Chinese mixed in there.  And she is interacting with us constantly!  Oh, THANK YOU LORD!!!!!  She LOVES to be tickled and laughs frequently.  This morning was the first morning that she didn't wake up sad.  She is still really bothered by ANY and EVERY stranger that tries to approach her but she is really blossoming with us.  She is SO MUCH FUN.  Tonight on the flight here she was trying to play peek a boo with a little 6 year old boy who sat behind us....that made me soooooooooooo excited for her to come home and meet her siblings.
