While there have definitely been some challenges, God just continues to amaze me with how He has given us so many fantastic moments in Beijing. It truly has been a fabulous time here.
Last night, I am happy to report we survived the Beijing subway. Wowzers. It was INTENSE. The people. Everywhere. MASSES of them! Moving quickly. Pushing us from all sides. Squeezed in from every angle. Really no words to describe it. This picture is mainly for us to remember it. Fun adventure!
Super cool thing to get to hang out and go to the home of some people doing kingdom work here in this place. They were so great to us, so hospitable, and so wonderful. Inspired by their work. Encouraged what God is doing in this place! Definitely my personal favorite "activity" we have done here. Malia, this picture is for YOU!

And then today we hung out a bit at Tiananmen Square.
The kids felt better today. Sleep is getting better and they are getting used to the difference in food choices. Thanks a million for those of you who prayed for them.
Today there were quite a few more people asking for Luke's picture. And today, most of them wanted Jorie in the picture too. Cracks me up.
AND some of them even wanted my mom in the picture! Isn't that funny. What's up with Marc and I? We, ofcourse, were totally offended that we were never asked. ha! People seriously would just walk up to us and motion for whoever from our family they wanted in the picture. so funny.
So.....when Marcus went to college, there was a guy named Scott who was instrumental in Marc growing with the Lord. God used Scott in BIG ways and because of that he has always been so special to us and forever has a place in our hearts. Since college, we have not stayed in good touch. So, long story short, in God's awesomeness, guess who He has here in China at the EXACT time as us, adopting a baby????? Yep, it's Scotty and his wife Lisa. We got to spend all day with them today! What a blessing for us! We will separate from them tomorrow when they go to a different Province to get their daughter, but will reunite and be together for our final week in Guangzhou.

Tomorrow morning we leave early for the airport and say good bye to Beijing and head to Guangzhou. This is where our son lives. We will then meet him on Monday.
In the meantime, I would soooo appreciate your prayers for Meili and Caleb.
They are home in VERY GOOD hands with my sister and brother-in-law however they are struggling a little bit. Especially Caleb misses us and you know that is hard for all of us. Hard for my sister to deal with and hard for me to be so far away from. So, please pray for Caleb and Mei to feel deep peace and contentment and joy in their hearts. Thank you.
