Today we got our LOA!!!!!!!!!!
This is a big deal. It means that China reviewed ALL of the documents that took us months and months to compile, and has given us the official stamp of approval that they have "accepted" us as fit to adopt Levi.
It's not the end of the journey yet.
Still have quite a few steps to go through, still lots of paperwork that needs to be taken care of and sent to and from both countries involved....
BUT,
today was a very good day.
It's a turning point.
This was the last big variable that hung out there.
Now, the remaining steps that need to be taken usually go pretty smoothly and in a very routine fashion.
Our agency has said we should plan to travel the first week of September.
I have a bad feeling this is going to be the longest three and a half months of my life.
